RAFIKI SAFARI 4 DAYS

This 4 day Rafiki safari will introduce you to the friendly side of the people of Tanzania. This beautiful country has warm hearted people that are not only social but also welcoming and friendly.  This short day safari takes you to Tarangire National park and the famous Ngorongoro Crater.

DAY I: Airport -Tarangire

You meet our Omba safaris TZ representative at the airport and will transfer to the hotel who will brief you on your Africa Safari. Half board

DAY 2: Arusha – Tarangire

After breakfast you will pick the lunch boxes from the hotel and drive to Tarangire national park, As you enter the park, your guide will open the roof for a better viewing experience.

 Tarangire is home to the largest elephant herds in the north of  Tanzania. Giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras wildebeests as well as various antelopes and gazelles can also be spotted here.

The landscape is made up of seasonal marshes and seemingly endless tree savannah with its mighty baobab trees. During lunch, you will drive to the picnic area, after lunch will proceed to a game drive until the evening time you start to drive to Karatu for overnight.

DAY  3: Karatu – Ngorongoro crater

After have early breakfast  and pick the lunch boxes  your will proceed to crater for game drive . The crater of Ngorongoro is the largest Caldera that has many wildlife animals in the world.

Grass steppes and acacia forests are home to almost all the species of animals found in the East African savannah. In a few hours of game view, you have a chance to spot Big five ( lions, elephants, rhino, buffaloes, and leopard.

After the lunch picnic, you will continue with the game drive until evening time your drive in Karatu for overnight.

DAY 4: Karatu – Airport

After the breakfast you will take the lunch boxes and will drive to Manyara national park, the wall of the Great Rift  Valley , before which lies the groundwater forest areas of open grassland near the foreshore and the Soda lake. You enjoy a picnic lunch in this area, after the lunch you proceed game drive in Manyara national park to look for animals like elephants, tree climbing lions, giraffe, different species of birds and later you will drive to Airport.
